Most sports mouthguards are formed from a soft vinyl type material. They are best cleaned with a mild liquid soap and water and a soft wash cloth after use. Occasionally the sports mouthguards may be cleaned with a very soft toothbrush. Toothpastes are abrasive and can damage the soft mouthguard. Soft sports mouthguards should be stored dry.
