much cheaper than buying one at the dentist office
The dentist office will charge $600+ for a mouth guard. This was a quarter of the price. It comes with a bunch of different sized fitting trays for the top or bottom. It also comes with enough material to make two fittings. My first one, I messed up. I got it right with the second one by choosing a larger tray. I suggest picking a tray that feels comfortable and then put in the next size larger tray.If you mess up both materials, you can contact them and they'll send new materials out.You get a choice of 5 different types (hard, soft, combination, etc). After you get your new guard, you'll have the option of ordering a second at a 30% discount. Would buy this again.

I've been clenching my jaws during sleep, inexplicably, for a year now. Maybe it started with stress, but even now as life is uneventful, it persists and has been exacerbated by the 'soften in hot water and mold to your teeth' night guard purchased for less than $20, which I've been using for some time. I woke up nightly clenching so hard on it like a chew toy, my teeth felt misaligned and gums swollen in the morning. My dentist suggested a harder night guard purchased online (rather than purchasing through him for much more $). There are a few similar options on Amazon, but I went with JS Dental, skeptical and prepared for disappointment. I've been wowed every step of the way, this is a dream come true in terms of exceeding expectations. The video tutorial by founder himself, explaining clearly how to create a usable impression of your teeth with kit provided, allowed me to do a task easily myself in my home that otherwise would be done at the dentist for a cost. I then sent in a couple photos of the impression, got the ok, mailed it in the provided envelope, and in a few days received my night guard perfectly formed with precise workmanship, comfortable to wear and sturdy. I got the 'hybrid' level of firmness, for clenching, no grinding. First night wearing it and I wasn't clenching nearly as hard as with the soft cheap night guard. There is a fair amount of detailed workmanship on their end forming your night guard, not to mention the excellent customer service of communicating back and forth, thus the pricing is very reasonable. If you're frustrated with the cheaper chewy options on Amazon, get this. Wish I'd found them sooner.
Edit: After a few weeks of wearing the night guard I upgraded for a fee to the 3D option, out of curiosity for its benefits and not from any dissatisfaction. It required sending them an impression of the opposing set of teeth (in my case the upper). In a few days I received what looked very similar to their regular night guard, but with subtle deeper indents where the molars meet. This compensated for my uneven bite and reduced the clenching pressure from the back teeth, spreading the pressure evenly. While I still clench in my sleep it is milder and I sleep comfortably. I recommend both the regular hybrid and 3D night guards through this company. You will be impressed!
